Managerial position available – Responsible for development of Community Transit’s service vision & strategies to meet agency goals & the needs of a growing community.  

Facilitates development and approval of short-range service plans, annual service improvement plans and Title VI compliance.  In coordination with the Long Range Planning Program Manager, supports service planning for Transit Development Plan (TDP) and long-range plans.    This position has oversight of the following areas: development of transit markets, design and implementation of new services; route restructures and enhancement of existing service; establishment of trip start times, capacities and frequencies; development of service performance metrics; regional planning coordination; translation of leadership directives into complex decision support; guides internal and external outreach processes to support service proposals.  This position requires strategic thinking, exceptional communication and relationship building skills, and the ability to integrate diverse needs and priorities into cohesive and achievable plans.
