We are the first new major private passenger intercity railroad in the United States in over a century, and we believe our business represents a scalable model for twenty-first century passenger travel in North America.We’re looking for an Operations Center Controller who’s as passionate about both operations performance and hospitality as we are. This role communicates transportation plan updates to Train Dispatchers, coordinates communication between train crews, stations, ground transportation, and guest service, and provides timely and meaningful updates to passenger and teammate information systems. The Operations Center is the heart of Brightline, receiving and sending information to and from every area of the company. You will help keep that flow moving 24 hours per day.


Monitor real-time train operations on dispatch screens, radio channels, and via GPSCommunicate by telephone with the Dispatch Center to gather information and anticipate any impacts to train serviceExecute communication protocols to notify Brightline departments of service interruptionsOperate software interfaces to update passenger and teammate information systemsPrepare delay, cancellation and impact reports and service status briefingsParticipate in routine operating department conference callsAnticipate impacts to train service and develop efficient recommendations for recoveryCommunicate essential information to field managers and senior leaders during service interruptions and accidents/incidentsParticipate in drills and emergency simulationsMaintain incident and injury logsPrepare nightly reports and assist with sending internal employee communicationsWe are a new business model – agile and evolving.
