MAJOR FUNCTIONS:
The purpose of this position is to ensure compliance with organizations safety programs including, but not
limited to Public Transportation Agency Safety Plan and all other federal, state and local safety guidelines and
regulations and to provide risk management to control losses and to maintain loss ratios at or below estab[1]lished standards. This is accomplished by implementing and managing various safety related programs;
managing and monitoring the Drug and Alcohol testing program; completing necessary documentation; and
providing safety training. Other duties include completing safety related projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants require knowledge of a specific vocational, administrative, or technical nature which may be
obtained with a two year associate’s degree, diploma or equivalent from a college, technical, business,
vocational, or correspondence school. Must have four years up to and including five years experience.
