The Grants Manager is responsible for overseeing and administering activities related to the development and monitoring of federal, state and other transit grant programs. The position provides financial management of grants, including monitoring and reconciling contract budgets; ensuring compliance with reporting requirements; and assists in budget development. Additionally, the Grants Manager serves as a liaison to the Federal Transit Administration for the City of Rochester and supervises teammates.

Starting salary range is $85,306 to $100,361 depending on qualifications, with advancement to $125,451.

Requirements

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Public Administration or other related field from an accredited college or university AND 4 years of experience in public transit finance and accounting, or related field.

Desirable Qualifications
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Public Administration
