Do you have excellent communication skills, supervisory experience, and an interest in Transit? We are currently accepting applications for the Transit Supervisor (Part-Time) position! Work with our Bus Operators to provide safe and efficient transportation to many individuals in our community.

Typical Work Schedule: Approximately 20 hours per week; Saturdays 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. with the remaining hours flexible during the week. This position also helps to cover other Transit Supervisors’ time off as needed (this requires additional weekday shifts between 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. or 4:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.).

This position assists the Transit Manager with the daily operations of the Transit System, including training and supervising bus operators, investigating accidents and incidents, and more!

The ideal applicant must: possess or obtain (within 6 months of hire) and maintain a valid Class B CDL with no air brake restrictions and P endorsement; be able to obtain (within 1 year of hire) and maintain certification in a Defensive Driver Instructor Course; have 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office Word and Excel; experience training in a professional setting; experience with mapping software in a professional setting; have 2 years of supervisory or Transit specific experience; and a High School diploma or equivalent (GED, etc.). A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
